British Airways cancelled all flights to and from China due to the Coronavirus. That brings some troubles for the foreign teachers of CAVC. However, as teachers, they have overcome all kinds of difficulties and re-signed airlines of other countries overnight, and even some foreign teachers re-signed to other countries and then flew to China. What they care about are Cardiff's students, and what care about is the country that was suffering from the epidemic.

Although our teachers are in the UK, they are concerned about the epidemic situation in China while caring about CAVC students. Knowing the shortage of medical supplies such as domestic masks,  they spontaneously purchased supplies in the UK to help Wuhan overcome the epidemic.

At the same time, our students, a group of children with a sense of social responsibility, volunteered to donate materials. They hope that through their modest efforts, they can bring love and care to Wuhan. Our graduates who are far from the UK, after learning the epidemic, also purchased medical supplies in the UK and sent them to China, and sent their blessings.

In response to this epidemic, CAVC’s health and safety preparations have been fully launched, and we are always concerned about the safety of students, and we will cooperate with campuses to do disinfection measures as soon as possible. During the Spring Festival holiday, our school will carry out comprehensive disinfection and cleaning, and increase the number of regular cleaning and disinfection until the virus transmission has been completely controlled.

After school starts, we will carry out various forms of infectious disease prevention and control education as soon as possible to help teachers and students increase awareness of prevention and understanding of prevention and treatment. Students who show any discomfort during school will be immediately quarantined in the clinic. Body temperature measurement. Additional disinfection hand sanitizer, forehead gun, etc. are also equipped for each student with masks, temperature measuring instruments, medical boxes and other items, so that children can protect themselves while studying hard! CAVC will lead students in more effective ways to actively participate in physical exercise, enhance physical fitness and immunity, and develop good health habits and healthy lifestyles.

In order to ensure the student's learning status and learning effect, and taking into account the school syllabus and the CAIE global unified examination time, CAVC Shanghai will officially begin a new semester course on February 10. All teaching activities and learning processes It will be implemented online. Special schedules and specific procedures and operating instructions will be sent to every CAVC student.
